Commencement and Duration of the Employment. 1The employment under the Employment Agreement shall commence on the date stated in Annex 1. 2The commencement of the employment is subject to the Employee satisfying the Company of his/her fitness to work following a medical examination. The employment is also subject to the Employee obtaining any necessary work permit and/or visa from the appropriate authorities before the Employee’s designated date of departure to the Work Location. 3The employment shall expire as specified in Annex 1 unless terminated earlier in accordance with article 11. 4The employment may be extended beyond the expiring date specified in Annex 1 by mutual written consent.
