Commitment of Employer. At the expiration of the uncompensated leave, the unit member shall be offered an equivalent position. Course credit obtained during uncompensated leave may be applied toward credit on the salary schedule. While on uncompensated leave, a unit member shall be entitled to insurance benefits provided to unit members of like status if he/she pays the premiums and therefore, is eligible under the terms of the insurance carrier.
