Women- and Minority-Owned Businesses (W/MBE) The Subrecipient will use its best efforts to afford small businesses, minority business enterprises, and women’s business enterprises the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract. As used in this cataract, the terms “small business” means a business that meets the criteria set forth in section 3(a) of the Small Business Act, as amended (15 U.S.C. 632), and “minority and women’s business enterprise” means a business at lease fifty-one (51) percent owned and controlled by minority group members or women. For the purpose of this definition, “minority group members” are Afro- Americans, Spanish-speaking, Spanish surnamed or Spanish-heritage Americans, Asian-Americans and American Indians. The Subrecipient may rely on written representation by businesses regarding their status as minority and female business enterprises in lieu of an independent investigation.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY The following applies to all contracts for information technology commodities and contractual services. “Information technology” is defined in section 287.012(15), F.S., to have the same meaning as provided in section 282.0041, F.S.
Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended. RELEASE OF GENERAL INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC AND MEDIA NASA or Partner may, consistent with Federal law and this Agreement, release general information regarding its own participation in this Agreement as desired. Pursuant to Section 841(d) of the NASA Transition Authorization Act of 2017, Public Law 115-10 (the "NTAA"), NASA is obligated to publicly disclose copies of all agreements conducted pursuant to NASA's 51 U.S.C. §20113(e) authority in a searchable format on the NASA website within 60 days after the agreement is signed by the Parties. The Parties acknowledge that a copy of this Agreement will be disclosed, without redactions, in accordance with the NTAA.
