Communication with Press or Media. ‌ The Executive Director and the Manager of Community Relations are responsible for overseeing community relations, education, and marketing for the ADM system of services, and events sponsored by the ADM Board. The ADM Board procedure Media Relationships covers all forms of responses to the press and media. If the Executive Director or the Manager of Community Relations is not available, the employee should refer them to the Executive Director’s and/or Manager of Community Relations’ email address, business phone, or cell phone. It is imperative that only designated spokespersons speak for the ADM Board to deliver an appropriate message and to avoid giving misinformation in response to any media inquiry. In response to media inquiries, employees must respond by stating that they are not authorized to comment for the ADM Board, and offering to have the appropriate spokesperson contact the press.
