Community School Coordinators. 1.) Community School Coordinators are essential to building successful community schools and creating, strengthening, and maintaining partnerships between community schools and their communities. 2.) Community School Coordinators have a flexible eight (8)-hour schedule as agreed upon by their supervisor. This includes, but is not limited to, flexing time to work weekends, evenings, or off-contract days. 3.) Community School Coordinators attend professional development meetings and other critical partnership meetings both on and off campus. a.) Due to the nature of the time demands inherent in the position, Community School Coordinators should not be assigned any regular school or classroom duties (i.e. lunch or bus duty) and should not be expected to volunteer time for work outside the scope of their duties.
