Community Visioning and Visioning Report. Using information from the inventory and characterization effort, the city engaged in a dialogue with its citizens regarding current conditions and citizens’ preferred visions for a future (10 years and 20 years) shoreline. Citizens were also asked to describe what had to be done, especially by the city, to achieve their future shorelines. This effort informed development of goals and strategies to realize an idealized future shoreline. The city described the community visioning🕈 effort, citizen input, and resulting goals and strategies in a Community Visioning Report.
