Establish Shoreline Jurisdiction. The city first determined the geographic extent of its shoreline jurisdiction. The city did this using the guidance provided by the SMA at RCW 90.58.030. When this SMP is approved by Ecology, the shoreline jurisdiction described herein will become the official delineation of shorelines of the state for the city as described in Chapter 172-22 WAC. The official shoreline jurisdiction map for the City of Long Beach is Appendix A to this SMP.
