Common use of Compensation Act Clause in Contracts

Compensation Act. (a) Where an employee is on a claim recognized by the Workers' Compensation Board, the employee shall be entitled to leave, at the regular rate of pay, up to a maximum of 130 days for any one claim. (b) Where an employee elects to claim leave with pay under this Article, the compensation payable by the Workers' Compensation Board shall be remitted to the Employer.
