Workmen's Compensation. Employee may be entitled to compensation for time loss and disability for injuries or illnesses occurring on-the-job according to the terms of a worker's compensation insurance policy held by Government. Employee is responsible for reporting to Employee's supervisor as soon as practical any on-the-job related injury or illness.
Workmen's Compensation. The CONSULTANT, its subconsultants, if any, and all employers working under this Agreement are either subject employers under the Oregon Workers' Compensation Law and shall comply with ORS 656.017, which requires them to provide workers' compensation coverage for all their subject workers, or are employers that are exempt under ORS 656.126.
Workmen's Compensation. All employees are insured under the Workmen’s Compensation insurance.
Workmen's Compensation. Tenant shall, at its own cost and expense, keep and maintain in full force and effect during the Term, a policy or policies of workmen's compensation insurance covering all Tenant's employees working in the Premises, and shall furnish Landlord with certificates thereof.
Workmen's Compensation. 1. Contractor shall take out a comprehensive insurance policy under the Workmen’s Compensation Act to cover such workers, who shall be engaged to undertake the jobs covered under this contract and a copy of this insurance policy shall be given to BHU solely for its information, reference and records. Contractor shall ensure that such insurance policies are kept valid at all times.
2. BHU shall be entitled to deduct from any money due to or to become due to contractor, money paid or payable by way of compensation as aforesaid or cost or expenses in connection with any claims there to and contractor shall abide by the decision of BHU as to the sums payable by contractor under the provisions of this clause.
3. Nothing contained in this contract, shall establish any relationship of any kind between BHU on the one hand and the employees, workmen and labourers, of any kind whatsoever of contractor on the other hand.
Workmen's Compensation. Yakima County is a Self-Insured Employer for Workers Compensation. An employee, who is injured on the job and eligible for time loss payments due to the injury, may use annual leave during the period covered, or the employee may request and be allowed sick leave to compensate for the difference between time loss compensation and full pay for the period of time loss.
Workmen's Compensation. 1. The statutory provisions of the Illinois Workmen’s Compensation Act and/or the Illinois Occupational Diseases Act shall be part of this Agreement, and where the Employer comes under the jurisdiction of either or both of these said Acts, he shall promptly comply with all provisions of these said Acts and amendments thereto.
2. The statutory provisions of the Federal Social Security Act and the Old Age Pension Act shall be promptly complied with. The Employer agrees to carry liability insurance with a recognized risk firm to protect Employees should they be injured, disabled or killed in the scope of their employment with the Employer. Liability insurance is a part of this Agree ment and the Union may at its discretion, examine the policies of the Employer. This Agreement protects the representative of the Union in making this request.
Workmen's Compensation. The Customer agrees to save the City and the Authority harmless and to indemnify them against any claims or liability for compensation under the South Carolina Workmen’s Compensation Act arising out of injuries sustained by any employees of the Customer or of any contractor or sub-contractor under the Customer.
Workmen's Compensation. If the administrator is injured in the line of duty, he shall receive such compensation and expenses as are prescribed by the Workmen’s Compensation Law of the State of Indiana. The Board of School Trustees will pay the difference between Workmen’s Compensation and regular salary pro-rated on their daily rate and this will not be deducted from accumulated sick leave. This benefit will be limited to the qualifying period of two (2) consecutive months of disability benefits as stipulated in the disability insurance program.
Workmen's Compensation. Clerical personnel who are injured in the line of duty shall receive such compensation and expenses as are prescribed by the Workmen's Compensation Law of the State of Michigan.
