Compensation Under the Faculty Incentivized Retirement Program. 1. For faculty electing the first year Faculty Incentivized Retirement Program, the faculty member shall receive a salary increase of 3% of their 2016-2017 base salary, in addition to the their 2016-2017 base salary, subject to the SURS six percent (6%) earnings increase limit (except for those in the Self Managed Plan). The faculty member will be removed from the regular faculty salary schedule upon being granted Faculty Incentivized Retirement Program approval. A faculty member who declares retirement by October 1, 2016, and will retire by July 31, 2017, will receive a post-retirement payment equal to $3,000/year of full-time faculty service up to a cap of $90,000.
