COMPETITIVE BID REQUIREMENTS. 1. GRANTEE shall maintain documentation of its normal procurement policy and competitive bid process used. This competitive bid requirement may be waived upon GRANTEE certification and grantor approval that due to the unique nature of the goods or services a sole source purchase is justified. Failure to comply with competitive bid requirements may result in the DEPARTMENT disallowing reimbursement of some portion or all of the related costs or other remedies for breach of contract.

COMPETITIVE BID REQUIREMENTS a. All subcontracts entered into by the CONTRACTOR for capital equipment purchase exceeding the amount of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) will be only by competitive bids in compliance with Sourcewise bidding procedures except when services or materials can be obtained only from a single source. Any procurement exceeding ten-thousand dollars ($10,000.00) will also comply with the requirements of Office of Management and Budget Circular Uniform Guidance.
COMPETITIVE BID REQUIREMENTS. Grantee shall secure at least three competitive bids or price quotes for goods (including equipment) or services authorized in the Application with revisions, if any, and any amendments - Exhibit C, where the amount charged to the grant is $5,000 or more. COMPETITIVE BID REQUIREMENTS. Pursuant to 40 CFR, Section 33.501(b) and (c), the Grantee also agrees to create and maintain a bidders list for both Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Non-Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (non-DBE). The purpose of a bidders list is to provide the recipient and entities receiving identified grants who conduct competitive bidding with as accurate a database as possible about the universe of DBE and non-DBE prime and subcontractors. The list must include all firms that bid or quote on prime contracts, or bid or quote subcontracts on Environmental Protection Agency assisted projects, including both DBE and non-DBE. The bidders list must be kept at least until the grant project period has expired and the recipient is no longer receiving Environmental Protection Agency funding under the grant. For grantees receiving identified grants, the bidders list must only be kept until the project period for the identified grant has ended. The following information must be obtained from all prime and subgrantees: entity's name with point of contact; entity's mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address; the procurement on which the entity bid or quoted, and when; and entity's status as a DBE or non-DBE. The Grantee agrees to provide Environmental Protection Agency Form 6100-2 DBE Subcontractor Participation and Environmental Protection Agency Form 6100-3 DBE Subcontractor Performance to all its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise subcontractors. The Grantee shall require Disadvantaged Business Enterprise provisions are contained in all contracts with any subcontractors for work or services related to the declared SCOPE OF WORK.

COMPETITIVE BID REQUIREMENTS a. All subcontracts except those involving architectural/engineering and professional services entered into by the Contractor shall be let only by competitive sealed bids (sealed bidding) and applicable State of California and Federal rules and regulations, including but not limited to, the California Health and Safety Code, Section 33422, except where using a sole supplier of services or materials. Any procurement exceeding Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) shall comply with the requirements of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-110, incorporated herein by reference.

  • National Competitive Bidding Goods estimated to cost less than $250,000 equivalent per contract and works estimated to cost less than $500,000 equivalent per contract, may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of National Competitive Bidding.

  • International Competitive Bidding Except as otherwise provided in paragraph 2 below, goods and works shall be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of International Competitive Bidding.
