COMPLIANCE W ITH APPLICABLE LAW. At all times during the term of this Contract, the Contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to, nondiscrimination laws and regulations. To the extent that Contractor will provide performance to any UW Medicine entity, contractor agrees to comply with all UW Medicine Compliance policies and the UW Medical Center Corporate Compliance Plan. Any violation of this section shall be considered a material breach of this contract. Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold the University of Washington harmless from any and all damages or claims caused by Contractor’s failure to comply with law.

COMPLIANCE W ITH APPLICABLE LAW. (A) Compl i anc e Obligation. The Lessee shall perform the Leasehold Obligations in accordance with Applicable Law, and shall cause all Subcontractors to comply with Applicable Law (other than the Excluded Conditions). The Lessee shall comply with th e term s of all Governm ental Approvals and other Applicable Law pertaining to the Incineration Facilities, Incinerator Sludge, air emissions and odor, and Incinerator Residuals notw ithstanding the fact that the Lessee may not be a perm ittee or co- permittee with respect to some or all of such Governm ental Approvals. The Lessee's obligations under this Section shall apply regardless of the extent to which the Lessor, NTC or the Company (under the Interim Service Contract) complied with Applicable Law w ith respect to the Incineration Facilities prior to the Commencement Date.
