External members will serve on all Tenure and Promotion Committees in the Faculty or School during the Academic Year. Three (3) alternates, who conform to the same requirements, will also be chosen. 9.2.4.8 Appointment to the Committee of a slate of internal members, other than the Chair of the Academic Unit, requires ratification by Tenure-Track and Tenured Members within the Academic Unit.
