Common use of COMPTROLLER’S CERTIFICATE Clause in Contracts

COMPTROLLER’S CERTIFICATE. This Contract shall not be binding or of any force unless the Comptroller of the City has endorsed hereon its certificate that there remains unexpended and unapplied, as provided in Section 93c-3.0 of the Administrative Code of the City of New York, a balance of the appropriation of funds applicable thereto sufficient to pay the estimated expense of executing this Contract as certified by the officer making same. This Contract shall continue in force only after annual appropriation of funds by the City of New York and certification as hereinabove set forth.
