Common use of Computerization Clause in Contracts

Computerization. The Employer recognizes that the introduction of electronic data processing equipment, computer equipment or automated machines should be accomplished with due regard for the employees. In the event such changes affect existing staff, the Employer shall consult with the Union four (4) months in advance, and present staff will be retained. No permanent employee shall be laid off as a result of the above.
