Conducting the Inspection for Final Completion. When all Permitted Incomplete Work has been completed or scheduled for completion, the Owner shall call for and the Design Professional shall schedule the Final Inspection with the Owner and Contractor. The Design Professional shall conduct the Inspection for Final Completion and shall confirm that all Permitted Incomplete Work has been completed. Then the Design Professional shall issue the Certificate of Final Completion and Final Payment and any remaining funds may, upon an Application for Payment, be paid to the Contractor. Any Final Documents not yet submitted must be submitted with the Application for Final Payment. In the event any item of Permitted Incomplete Work is determined to be incomplete and the date for its completion has passed, the Owner may give the fourteen-day notice of failure to complete the Work, as set forth in Article 6.2.3.
