Common use of Conference Funds Clause in Contracts

Conference Funds. Any funds budgeted for employee conferences will be distributed at the building level by a committee composed of the building principal and employees selected by the building staff. Any employee who receives permission to attend a conference will be supplied with a substitute if necessary. Employees wishing to make use of this provision shall submit an S-55 to their principal at least five (5) days in advance of the anticipated absence. The reason for the request shall be stated on the S-55. The terms and conditions of the reimbursement will be stated on the S-55 and returned to the employee prior to the attendance of the conference. When disapproved, a copy shall likewise be returned to the employee.
