Feeder. The fiber optic cable (lit or unlit) or metallic portion of a Loop between a serving End Office and a remote terminal or feeder/distribution interface.

Feeder. Any employee who is not currently qualified will be given an opportunity to do so as provided for below:
a. Employees who are interested in qualifying as tractor trailer driv- ers will so notify the Company. These employees, in seniority order, provided they meet the Employer's qualifications for atten- dance, will be given an opportunity to attend one of the Company tractor trailer schools. Such employees shall be compensated at their regular straight time hourly rate while attending school. The school may be conducted on Saturdays. The school will be con- ducted when the need for additional tractor trailer drivers arises in any given location or locations. The Company agrees to furnish the instructors and necessary equipment. The company agrees to furnish instructors and necessary equipment so as to establish a reasonable bench in each Local Union’s jurisdic- tion. Any dispute shall be referred to the Co-Chairs of the NEAPGC for resolution. In the event the Co-Chairs cannot resolve the dispute the matter will be referred to the Grievance procedure. In the event there is not sufficient instructors or equipment to maintain this bench, the company may use outside tractor-trailer schools, includ- ing those run by various Local Unions. All other conditions shall apply.
b. To qualify for attendance at the tractor trailer school, an employ- ee must not have had an avoidable accident during the year preced- ing his application to attend school.
c. To be eligible to move from the qualified list to a tractor trailer job, an employee must not have had an avoidable accident during the year preceding his bid on or assignment to a tractor trailer job.
d. When an employee successfully completes the tractor trailer school he will be added to the qualified list.
e. When it is necessary to fill a tractor trailer job from the qualified list, the employees on the list in the Center or Hub where the open- ing exists will be offered, in seniority order, an opportunity to fill the position. In the event no employee on the qualified lists elects to fill the opening, the least senior employee on the list will be assigned the job.
Feeder. SBC shall not be required to provide access to the feeder portion of a Loop on an unbundled, standalone basis.
Feeder. The most senior applicant within the same classification will be awarded the position first until the vacancies with the clas- sification have been filled. Secondly, the most senior applicant (Takeoff) will be award- ed the position. Should there be no applicants within the Feeder or Takeoff positions, the job will be awarded to the applicant according to 24.01.

Feeder. A current-carrying electrical connection between the OCS and a traction power facility (Substation, Paralleling Station or Switching Station). Also, a conductor supported on the same structure as the OCS.
Feeder. Notwithstanding any other provision of the Agreement or any Verizon tariff or SGAT, and subject to the provisions of Section 3.9 below, as of the Amendment Effective Date, Verizon shall not be required to provide access to the Feeder portion of a Loop on an unbundled, standalone basis.
