Common use of CONFERENCE MEETING Clause in Contracts

CONFERENCE MEETING. Representatives of the Board and the Association shall meet at the request of either party with appropriate notice for the purpose of reviewing the administration of the contract and to resolve problems that may arise. These meetings are not intended to by-pass the Grievance procedures. The requesting party shall submit to the other, at least five (5) days prior to the meeting, an agenda covering what they wish to discuss. Should such a meeting result in a mutually acceptable amendment to the Agreement, then the amendment shall be subject to ratifications by the Board and the Association.
