Conference Prior to Suspension or Discharge. Before implementing a suspension or discharge of a non-probationary employee, the Superintendent/designee shall provide an opportunity for a conference with the employee to give the employee an opportunity to learn the reasons for the intended disciplinary action and to challenge the reason for the intended action or otherwise to explain the misconduct or other cause.
