Common use of Conferences and Activities Clause in Contracts

Conferences and Activities. Teachers will attend and participate in parent/teacher conferences and school as defined below: i) Two officially designated parent/teacher conferences as scheduled by the District. (a) Wednesday will be a half day student day, one hour lunch/teacher preparation and half day Parent Conferences (b) Thursday will be a full day Parent Conferences- 10:00am- 6:00pm with one hour for lunch. ii) Participation at three public-oriented programs per year is expected. Public- oriented events are generally all-school activities like Back to School Night, Curriculum Night, etc. All staff at the secondary level will attend high school graduation, which will count as a public-oriented program. iii) Events shall be limited to two (2) hours or less.
