OTHER WORKDAY PROVISIONS. 1) Professional Development a) Teachers shall participate in the three (3) professional development days at the beginning of the school year. b) During the student school year, teachers will also participate in: 1. One full day of professional development on the first working day after winter break. 2. Two additional half days of professional development that will take place in the morning. 3. Three additional half workdays for teachers to work in their rooms that will take place in the afternoon. c) Early release days for staff and students 1. The last day before winter break will be an early release day for students and staff. 2. The students’ last day of school will be an early release day for students and staff. 3. For teachers, counselors and librarians who have an extended year contract, the last day of their contract will be an early release day. d) No professional development, staff meetings or department/grade level meetings will be scheduled during the hours allotted for teacher workday. e) On days where one half (1/2) of the day is dedicated towards professional development and one half (1/2) of the day is dedicated as a teacher workday, the professional development session will take place in the morning, unless the principal notifies the staff five (5) work days in advance that PD will be in the afternoon. f) Teacher lunch period during professional development/work days will be 1 hour, which may be taken at the end of the day if it does not conflict with planned professional development activities.

OTHER WORKDAY PROVISIONS. 1) Professional Development 1) Teachers shall participate in the three (3) professional development days at the beginning of the school year. 2) During the student school year, teachers will also participate in one full day of professional development. 2) Teachers will have two and one half (2.5) workdays to work in their rooms. No meetings can be called by administration on workdays. 3) No professional development, staff meetings or department/grade level meetings will be scheduled during the hours allotted for teacher workday. 4) Teacher lunch period during professional development/work days will be one (1) hour, which may be taken at the end of the day if it does not conflict with planned professional development activities. 5) Faculty Meetings – Faculty meetings shall take place on Wednesdays during the seventy-five (75) minute period. In the case of an emergency or extenuating circumstance, a faculty meeting may take place beyond the regular scheduled school day but only with the prior approval of the Superintendent. The Superintendent shall notify the KCAFT president of the meeting. An emergency is defined as a serious, unexpected and often dangerous situation requiring immediate action.

  • Pay Provisions An Employee who serves on a Safety and Health Committee shall receive his/her regular rate of pay for investigating safety matters at anytime in accordance with Article 21.2.

  • Plan Provisions In addition to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the Award is subject to and governed by the terms and conditions set forth in the Plan, as may be amended from time to time, which are hereby incorporated by reference. Any terms used herein with an initial capital letter shall have the same meaning as provided in the Plan, unless otherwise specified herein. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the Agreement and the Plan, the Plan shall control.

  • SUNDRY PROVISIONS Section 4.1 Subject and subordinate always to the prior rights of the First Mortgagee under the First Mortgage and to the prior rights of the Second Mortgagee under the Second Mortgage, all of the covenants, promises, stipulations and agreements of the Shipowner in this Deed of Covenants contained shall bind the Shipowner and its successors and permitted assigns and shall be binding on and inure to the benefit of the Mortgagee and its successors and permitted assigns. In the event of any assignment of the Mortgage or this Deed of Covenants by the Mortgagee in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Third Lien Indenture, any other Third Lien Note Documents and the Third Lien Intercreditor Agreement, as applicable, the term “Mortgagee” as used in this Deed of Covenants shall be deemed to mean any such successor or permitted assignee. Section 4.2 Wherever and whenever herein any right, power or authority is granted or given to the Mortgagee, such right, power or authority may be exercised in all cases by the Mortgagee or such agent or agents as it may appoint, and the act or acts of such agent or agents when taken shall constitute the act of the Mortgagee hereunder. Section 4.3 (a) In the event that any provision of this Deed of Covenants shall be deemed invalid or unenforceable by reason of any present or future Legal Requirements or any decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, the validity and enforceability of any other provision hereof shall not be affected thereby. Any such invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Deed of Covenants in any jurisdiction or nation shall not render such provision invalid or unenforceable under the Legal Requirements of any other jurisdiction or nation.

  • Incorporation of Plan Provisions These Terms and Conditions and the Agreement are made pursuant to the Plan, the provisions of which are hereby incorporated by reference. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meanings set forth for such terms in the Plan. In the event of a conflict between the terms of these Terms and Conditions and the Agreement and the Plan, the terms of the Plan shall govern.

  • Penalty Provisions Failure to comply with the regulatory requirements is a violation of state law that may result in penalties up to ten thousand nine hundred ten dollars ($10,910.00 USD) for strict liability violations for each day in which the violation occurs. (Cal. Code Regs., tit.17, § 94507 et seq.; Health & Saf. Code §§ 39674, 39675, 42400 et seq., 42402 et seq., and 42410.)

  • Data Provisions Subject to the limitations contained in CA Government Code Section 3558, the City shall provide the Union with all required information on newly-hired employees to the extent it is made available to the City. In addition, within ten (10) business days of the conclusion of each NEO, the City agrees to provide the Union with a stand-alone report containing a list of employees, including classification code and division, who were scheduled to, but did not attend each NEO.

  • Injury Pay Provisions An employee who is injured on the job during working hours and is required to leave for treatment or is sent home for such injury, shall receive payment for the remainder of his/her shift, without deduction from sick leave.

  • Statutory Provisions Any statutory or regulatory reference in this Agreement shall include a reference to any successor to such statute or regulation and/or revision thereof.
