Conferences with Community Agencies. There are times when teachers are called to meetings with outside consultants, psychologists, Pupil Services Department personnel, school social workers and the like. Because teachers are not obligated to attend outside of the normal work day, scheduling of such meetings that involve participation of representatives from other professions and other community agencies shall be determined by mutual consent of all parties involved. Substitutes, upon the request of the Assistant Superintendent – Human Resources and Operations or the Building Principal, shall be made available by the Human Resources Department to release teachers for these meetings.
