Safety and Health Committee. The District's Safety and Health Committee shall include three (3) classified staff members appointed by ECCE who shall fully participate in the duties and functions of the Committee. The Safety and Health Committee shall normally meet on a monthly basis.

Safety and Health Committee. 18.2.1 The District shall maintain a Safety and Health Committee. The Faculty Association shall appoint two representatives to this committee. 18.2.2 The Safety and Health Committee shall hold regular meetings. Minutes of all meetings and reports issued from this committee shall be distributed to committee representatives and the Faculty Association President. In addition, a notebook of all such minutes and reports shall be maintained by the chair of this committee, and shall be available for inspection to all who request to see them. 18.2.3 The Safety and Health Committee shall distribute the form for reporting concerns to the committee upon request, and shall post in the mailroom and distribute the following to the persons delineated in 18.
Safety and Health Committee. The University of Toledo Safety Committee will be established in accordance with guidelines determined by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Members of the Committee will be those positions specifically directed by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, plus three (3) union members, a chairman, and others deemed appropriate. The Safety Committee will meet and review those matters recommended by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations; Occupational Safety and Health Act; and appropriate state and city safety rules and directives. The Chairman of the Committee shall have the discretion to cancel a scheduled meeting, provided a majority of Committee members support the cancellation. The Committee shall recommend those actions, procedures, and rules necessary to ensure that the University of Toledo is in compliance with all appropriate safety rules and regulations. Employees are encouraged to report all safety violations and concerns. The Union Representatives shall bring safety complaints from employees to the Safety Committee and the Committee will attempt to resolve its complaints within a reasonable time. Advance written notice of Safety Committee meetings, place, date and time will be provided to all members. Should a regularly scheduled meeting need to be postponed, the postponement notice will include the rescheduled meeting time.
Safety and Health Committee. The parties will maintain a safe and healthy working environment in sleeper operations. The parties agree to establish a committee composed of four (4) members each to review the comfort and/or safety aspects of sleeper berths pertaining to ride. Such committee shall meet by mutual agreement of the Co-chairmen as to time and place. The committee shall confer with appropriate representatives of equipment manufacturers and/or other experts on this subject as may be available. The intent of the committee is to identify any problems with the comfort and/or safety aspects of sleeper berths pertaining to ride that may exist, and through its deliberations with the manufacturers and/or other experts, develop ways and means to correct such situations. Any disputes will be referred to the Joint Premium Service Review Committee.
Safety and Health Committee. The Company recognizes a Joint Safety and Health Committee comprised of the following: 1. Four representatives from the bargaining unit. In the event of absence of a regular member of the permanent Safety and Health Committee, the Union may provide an alternate. Three (3) members of this Committee including the Co- Chair will be trained as Certified Members under the O.H.S.A. of Ontario. 2. Four representatives from the management as appointed by the Company, including permanent representation by the Manager of Health, Safety and the Environment. In the event of absence of a regular member of the permanent Safety and Health Committee, the Company may provide an alternate. Two members of this Committee will be trained as Certified Members under the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario. 3. In addition to the aforementioned Union Safety and Health Committee members, the Union may appoint or otherwise select a safety representative on each operating shift who may discuss on-shift problems with his immediate Supervisor. Unresolved matters arising from such discussion will be reported to the regular members of the Union Safety and Health Committee. A list of said representatives will be provided to the Company to ensure their recognition. The format of Safety and Health Committee meetings and the manner in which the Committee members carry out their functions in meeting its objectives shall be determined by the Committee members. The members of the Committee agree to co-operate in developing safety and health programmes. Both parties agree to inform the other by letter of the names of their representatives to the Joint Safety and Health Committee.
Safety and Health Committee. The Employer agrees to a Safety & Health Committee. The Safety & Health Committee will be comprised of up to four (4) Employer representatives, of which can include up to three (3) individuals from the Employer's operations outside the bargaining unit, and three (3) individuals appointed by the Union. The Safety & Health Committee shall meet every second month during regular working hours. The Safety & Health Committee shall conduct safety tours of the Employer's operation every three (3) months. The full-time Union Representative and/or full-time Union Safety and Health Representative and the Employer’s Consultants may attend meetings and otherwise participate as observers in the business of the Safety & Health Committee. Minutes of all Safety & Health Committee meetings that occur shall be kept. Copies shall be given to each member of the Safety & Health Committee, and the Union, and as well, a copy shall be posted on the bulletin board in each location for all employees to see. The chairperson of the Safety & Health Committee shall rotate from meeting to meeting between an Employer and Union co-chair to ensure that there is an equal balance of representation in this position between management and employees.
Safety and Health Committee. The Union and Employer agree to establish an ASEA Safety and Health Committee upon request in writing by either party. The ASEA Safety and Health Committee shall meet upon written notice to the other party but not more often than quarterly to discuss safety-related issues. The committee shall consist of two management representatives and two representatives from the Union.

The committee shall meet quarterly during regular working hours. The Safety & Health Committee shall conduct safety tours of the Employer's operations at their respective locations. The Safety & Health Committee will be comprised of up to two (2) individuals appointed by the Union on behalf of the Winnipeg Region facilities and up to three (3) representatives on behalf of the Central Region facilities. Up to five (5) representatives will be appointed by the Employer. The full-time Union Representative and/or full-time Safety and Health Representative and the Employer’s Consultants may also attend these meetings from time to time. Minutes of all meetings that occur shall be kept and a copy shall be given to each member of the Committee and, as well, a copy shall be posted on the bulletin board in each location for all employees to see. The Union office shall also be e-mailed a copy of these minutes. The Chairperson of this Committee shall rotate from meeting to meeting to ensure that there is an equal balance of representation in this position between management and the employees. All time spent on the Safety & Health Committee by employees will be considered paid time, including travel time to attend the meetings, except for pre-meetings which will be without pay.
Safety and Health Committee. (A) The City shall undertake all reasonable efforts to provide for employee health and safety in accordance with all laws applicable to the operations of the City concerning the safety of all employees covered by this Agreement. All employees covered by this agreement shall comply with all safety rules and regulations established by the City. (B) In order to facilitate this Article, the Association shall appoint six (6) Association members to serve on the City's Safety Oversight Committee (SOC). These members shall be appointed by the Association and should be representative of divisions where exposure to safety hazards may pose a greater risk. The City's safety and loss control representative shall chair the committee. The City shall provide any necessary clerical support for the committee. (C) The responsibilities of the SOC shall be guided by the Safety Oversight Committee Charter. SOC members shall function as contact points for employees in all departments to report safety issues. (D) Safety issues reported to the SOC shall be addressed as directed by the Safety Oversight Committee Charter. Any safety or health concern that poses imminent danger to any employee shall be immediately reported to the City’s Safety Loss Control Officer. (E) To facilitate the adjustment of work schedules, SOC members shall notify their immediate supervisor of the meeting dates, times and locations immediately upon the scheduling of any such meeting. (F) SOC members shall not lose pay for time spent in any meetings authorized by this Article.
