Common use of CONFIDENTIALITY OF DOCUMENTS Clause in Contracts

CONFIDENTIALITY OF DOCUMENTS. 1. The Consultant agrees on behalf of the Consultant and the Consultant's principals, employees, agents, heirs, successors and assigns that they shall only utilize drawings, specifications, maps, reports, records or other documents to the extent necessary for the performance of the Consultant's work and duties under this contract. This limitation on use applies to those items produced by the Consultant, as well as to those items received by the Consultant from the Department of Administrative Services or others in connection with the Consultant's work and duties under this contract. 2. The Consultant further agrees that said drawings, specifications, maps, reports, records and other documents may not be released to any other entity or person except for the sole purpose of the work described in this contract. No other disclosure shall be permitted without the prior written consent of the Department of Administrative Services. 3.
