Confirmation of Family Relationship. The University may require a Postdoctoral Scholar requesting FML to care for a family member with a serious health condition or requesting FML as Parental Leave, Military Caregiver Leave, or Qualifying Exigency Leave to provide a declaration confirming the familial relationship. The University may, at its sole discretion, delay or deny a request for leave, or discontinue a leave which is in progress, if the Postdoctoral Scholar fails to provide this declaration within fifteen (15) calendar days of the University's request.
