Conflict of Interests. 9.1. The Contractor undertakes to take all necessary action to prevent, avoid and resolve any conflict of interests. 9.2. There is a conflict of interests where the impartial and objective exercise of the functions of any person under this Contract is compromised for reasons involving family, emotional life, political or national affinity, economic interest or any other shared interest with another party. 9.3. EFI shall without delay be informed of any situation constituting or being likely to lead to a conflict of interests. 9.4. EFI reserves the right to verify that the action taken by the Contractor to prevent, avoid and resolve conflict of interests is adequate and may require additional action to be taken, within a time limit that it shall set.
