Common use of CONFORMITY TO LAW - SAVING CLAUSE Clause in Contracts

CONFORMITY TO LAW - SAVING CLAUSE. If any provision of this Contract or any application of this contract to any certificated employee or group of certificated employees shall be found contrary to law by a court of jurisdiction, such provision or application shall not be deemed valid except to the extent permitted by law, but all other provisions or applications shall continue in full force and effect. If any provision of the contract is so held to be contrary to law, either party may notify the other party that it wishes to negotiate the matter.
