Recognition of Association.
4.1 The University of Victoria recognizes the University of Victoria Faculty Association as the exclusive bargaining agent for all Members for whom the Association has been certified as bargaining agent, in accordance with the order of the British Columbia Labour Relations Board dated January 29, 2014, or as subsequently amended by the Board.
4.2 The Association does not represent and does not have the authority to negotiate or enter into an agreement on behalf of persons excluded in conformity with the B.C. Labour
Recognition of Association. 1.2.1.1 For the duration of this Agreement, the Board recognizes the Association as the exclusive representative for the following unit of employees of the District, hereinafter referred to in the Articles of this Agreement as Unit Members:
1.2.1.1.1 any full-time or pro-rata regular (permanent or tenured) or contract (probationary or tenure track) faculty member employed within the District;
1.2.1.1.2 any temporary faculty member employed within the District and paid on the Regular and Contract Faculty Salary Schedule for a full semester.
Recognition of Association. The Board recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for all certificated/ licensed personnel employed by the Board, including Tutors (but excluding substitutes, supervisors as defined in ORC 4117.01 {F} and management level personnel as defined in ORC 4117.01 {L}). The bargaining unit does not include Adult Basic Education Instructors, Community Education Instructors, and regular hourly employees working fewer than five (5) hours per day. Permanent substitutes (defined as teachers employed to take the place of an absent bargaining unit member under the expectation that the absence will continue for the remainder of the school year), who are employed under permanent substitute contracts, are included in the bargaining unit provided that the provisions of Article VI will not apply to them.
Recognition of Association. 16 X. Xxxxxxxx to and in accordance with all the applicable provisions of Act 176 of the Public Acts of 1939 and Act 336 of the Public Acts of 1947, as amended, EMU does hereby recognize the Association as the certified exclusive collective bargaining representative for all teaching Faculty employed by Eastern Michigan University, including professors, associate professors, assistant professors, instructors, media service managers*, coach/teachers* and librarians with Faculty rank; and excluding Deans, Directors, Department Heads and other supervisory employees, lecturers, visiting professors, adjunct professors, non-tenure track academic employees, career army personnel in the Department of Military Science, and all other employees. *In accordance with MERC cases #R75J-427 and R76A-1.
17 B. EMU shall not aid, promote or finance any other group or organization which purports to engage in collective bargaining on behalf of Faculty Members in the Bargaining Unit covered by this Agreement.
18 C. It is the policy of EMU not to reduce the Bargaining Unit by arbitrary changes in titles or by the creation of new classifications. The University further agrees that in the absence of a change in circumstances, it will not permanently replace regular Faculty Members by a change in its historical uses of part-time lecturers. Nothing in this paragraph is intended to diminish in any respect the University’s rights pursuant to the provisions of Article VIII.
Recognition of Association. The Board hereby recognizes the Decatur Education Association as the exclusive representative, as certified in 1974 by the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board, in accordance with Indiana law, of all teachers employed by the Board.
Recognition of Association. The Board hereby recognizes the Franklin Township Education Association as the exclusive representative of all teachers in this school corporation.
Recognition of Association. The County recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive representative of the employees within the Bargaining Unit covered by this Agreement for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to wages, hours of employment, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Recognition of Association. The Board of Education of the Vocational Schools in the County of Bergen, New Jersey, hereinafter referred to as the Board, hereby recognizes the Association as the exclusive and sole representative for collective negotiation concerning the terms and conditions of employment for all non-supervisory certificated professional personnel.
Recognition of Association. The Employer recognizes the Association as the sole bargaining agent for those employees employed by the Employer in the categories specified in Schedule "A".
Recognition of Association. The Board hereby recognizes the Association to the extent required by the provisions of Act 336, P.A. of 1947, as amended, as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for all school principals, and assistant principals employed by the Grand Ledge Public Schools.
