Common use of Conservancy Clause in Contracts

Conservancy. The contractor shall at his own expenses, carry out all instructions issued to him by Engineer-in-Charge to effect a proper disposal to night soil and other conservation work in respect of the contractors work people or his employees on the site. The contractor will bear the cost of any charges levied by the local authority for the execution of such work on his behalf.
