Common use of Conservation, Research, and Monitoring Clause in Contracts

Conservation, Research, and Monitoring. ‌ Conservation, research, and monitoring projects performed or approved under the 2020 DSL CCAA include, but are not limited to, acquiring Conservation Easements (where feasible) and other protections to conserve DSL Habitat, surveys for DSL, refinement of models of potential habitat, captive breeding and reintroduction, temporal, spatial, and geomorphological dynamics of dune systems and stability, relationships between water use, hydrogeology and dune systems, and other similar activities to study, monitor, and assess the species, and the efficacy of and compliance with the 2020 DSL CCAA. Additionally, research projects should review the Xxxxxxxx and Texas State University habitat models to contribute to the further development and refinement of DSL Habitat modeling.
