Common use of Construction Budget Clause in Contracts

Construction Budget. The Contractor shall accomplish the design Services required under this Agreement so as to permit the AOC (i) to undertake a procurement for construction services using its procedures for the CM at Risk project delivery method, and (ii) to assist the AOC in reaching agreement with the CM at Risk in determining the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMAX) necessary to manage construction of the Project and to construct the Project, with the goal of not exceeding the Construction Budget available to the AOC that is set forth below. The GMAX is calculated after the Project has been bid by the CM at Risk in the Subcontractor Bid Package Stage at the end of the Working Drawings Phase.
