Common use of Construction Phase Duration Clause in Contracts

Construction Phase Duration. The Construction Phase shall commence with the award of the Contract for Construction and, together with the Architect’s obligation to provide Basic Services under the Agreement, will terminate when final payment to the Contractor is due and in the absence of a Certificate for Final Payment or of such due date, the construction phase shall terminate one hundred twenty (120) days after the Date of Substantial Completion of the Work, whichever occurs first.
