Construction Staking. Contractor shall avoid careless or negligent damage to construction stakes, flags, or marks. If such damage occurs, Contractor shall be required to replace stakes necessary to construc- tion. Contractor’s replacement staking shall be approved by Forest Service. Alternatively, upon Contractor’s request, Contracting Officer may agree to perform such work under E.

8.2 Reset boundary markers found at the time of survey but are removed during construction.
Construction Staking. If necessary, the City will furnish initial lines and grades to establish the initial horizontal and vertical control points and define the beginning and ending points of the Project. The Contractor is responsible for engaging the services of a qualified engineer or land surveyor to replace and/or re-establish, in accordance with the construction plans and/or specs, all construction stakes that are disturbed, displaced, or destroyed during construction.

A-E shall perform construction staking according to the specific requirements supplied by the County project manager in support of the operations and projects of Orange County Public Works and other contract agencies. Construction Staking. Developer shall, at Developer’s sole expense, furnish all construction points, stakes, and instructions necessary to control the horizontal and vertical placement of all facilities to be constructed by Developer pursuant to the Contract Documents. Construction points, stakes and instructions to be provided by Developer shall meet the following minimum requirements:
A. Water Extension
1. Horizontal location of all water mains at 50 foot stations offset 10 feet from the water main locations.
2. Two directional 10 foot offsets to locate all pipe intersections, cast iron bends, valves, hydrants, blow off assemblies, and air and vacuum assemblies.
3. A stake at the edge of the public right-of-way or easement adjacent the water main marking the horizontal locations of all water service meter box assemblies.
4. Sufficient horizontal and vertical reference marks to accurately locate and construct all other water facilities and structures such as pressure reducing stations.
Construction Staking. 4.12.1 Construction staking will be made by CONTRACTOR in accordance with the technical requirements of Section 105.8 of the MAG Specifications unless otherwise provided in the SUPPLEMENTAL CONDITIONS. CONTRACTOR shall provide and pay for all building layout staking, including elevations and all other PROJECT staking.
4.12.2 Replacement of construction stakes that have been knocked out due to CONTRACTOR'S WORK or lack of WORK, weather conditions, traffic, vandalism or utility contractors will be done at CONTRACTOR'S expense.
Construction Staking. Contractor shall provide all necessary construction staking as to lines and grades shown on the drawings. Contractor shall protect and preserve all control points in their original position or be responsible for providing new control points established from Architect’s original control points. Construction Staking. The ENGINEER shall be responsible for providing all construction stakes for the PROJECT. The construction documents will contain a provision that the ENGINEER will provide one set of stakes for each construction operation. Any staking that is destroyed due to construction that has to be replaced, will be at the Contractor’s expense.
