Common use of Consultation Clause in Contracts

Consultation. (A) In order to provide a means for continuing communication between the parties and upon request of the President of the PBA, the Secretary of the Department of Management Services and/or his designated representative(s) and not more than three representatives of the PBA shall make a good faith effort to meet and consult quarterly. Such meetings shall be held at a time and place designated by the Department of Management Services. It is understood that these meetings shall not be used for the purpose of discussing pending grievances or for negotiation purposes. An employee’s work time for this purpose shall not exceed eight hours for a consultation.
