Common use of CONSUMER EQUIPMENT Clause in Contracts

CONSUMER EQUIPMENT. (a) The consumer shall be responsible for the sewage installations, appliances and apparatus on the consumer’s side of the point of delivery and for the sewage and plumbing up to the point of said point of delivery. (b) In addition, it shall be the consumer’s responsibility to provide suitable protective equipment such as drains, water catchments, pressure valves, and water-cutoff valves adequate to protect the consumer’s equipment. It is the consumer’s responsibility to provide suitable protective devices for the equipment on the consumer's premises.
