Contemplated Change. At any time and from time to time during the Term the City may direct the Contractor by written notice to promptly prepare and deliver to the City’s Representative, at no additional cost to the City, a cost estimate for a potential Change. If the City notifies that the cost estimate is urgent, the Contractor will prepare and deliver the estimate to the City within 24 hours. In preparing the cost estimate, the Contractor will apply the prices set out in Schedule 3 (Proposal Submission Form) to the extent such prices are applicable to the Change. If the City agrees with the cost estimate provided by the Contractor, the City will issue a Change Order for the Change for signature by the Contractor. If the City does not agree with the cost estimate provided by the Contractor, the City may issue a Change Directive for the Change pursuant to Section 2.8.
