Contents of Notice. The notice of claim shall state the nature of the claim, the events or circumstances giving rise to the claim, the type of relief requested, and the amount of time or additional compensation, or other damages sought. If the amount of time, compensation, or other damages sought is not reasonably ascertainable at the time, the Contractor shall so state, explain why, and provide whatever estimates it can reasonably provide. The notice shall state clearly that the Contractor intends to assert a claim with the Contracts Appeals Board with respect to the claimed items.
