CONTINUING LEARNING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVES. Continuing learning is important for teachers to remain knowledgeable about best educational practices and current in subject content. In order to encourage continual professional development, the parties agree to compensate teachers for the graduate study they undertake and for in-service workshop or activities they attend, in accordance with the provisions of this Article.
