Notification of Employees A. Written notice of layoff shall be given to an employee or sent by mail to the last known mailing address at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the effective date of the layoff. Notices of layoff shall be served on employees personally at work whenever practicable.

Policy Deductibles and/or Self-Insured Retentions The policies set forth in these requirements may provide coverage that contains deductibles or self- insured retention amounts. Such deductibles or self-insured retention shall not be applicable with respect to the policy limits provided to the City. Consultant shall be solely responsible for any such deductible or self-insured retention amount.
Employee Information Required to be Reported by Certain Consultant Contractors and Service Contractors Chapter 10 of the Laws of 2006 amended the Civil Service Law and the State Finance Law, relative to maintaining certain information concerning Contract Employees working under State Agency service and consulting Contracts. State Agency consultant Contracts are defined as “Contracts entered into by a state Agency for analysis, evaluation, research, training, data processing, computer programming, engineering, environmental health and mental health services, accounting, auditing, paralegal, legal, or similar services” (“covered consultant Contract” or “covered consultant services”).
