Contract Awards. Operator shall award each contract for Joint Operations in accordance with the following procedures (the amounts stated are in Dollars): Procedure A Procedure B Exploration and Appraisal Operations 0 to 250,000 >250,000 Development Operations 0 to 500,000 >500,000 Production Operations 0 to 250,000 >250,000 (A) Operator shall award the contract to the best qualified contractor as determined by cost and ability to perform the contract without the obligation to tender and without informing or seeking the approval of the Operating Committee, except that before entering into contracts with Affiliates of Operator, Operator shall obtain the approval of the Operating Committee.
