SCM unit in collaboration with Contract Management unit / function is responsible to ensure that timeous arrangement is made to notify end users when a contract is due for renewal within 6 months or 12 months prior to expiry. Communication with the end users must be in writing and documentation must be properly filed.

SCM unit in collaboration with Contract Management unit / function is responsible to ensure for ensuring that timeous arrangement is made to notify end users when a contract is due for renewal of all contracts expiring within the next 6 months or 12 months prior to expirymonths. Communication with the end users must be in writing and documentation must be properly filed. Where procurement processes need to commence within a period exceeding six months (for example 12 months prior to expiry) such longer notice period will be given by the SCM unit to the relevant end user department.
