CONTRACT POWERS. The district may contract with a governmental or private entity, on terms determined by the board, to carry out a power or duty authorized by this chapter or to accomplish a purpose for which the district is created. CONTRACT POWERS. To make, do, and transact every kind of business of whatever nature, and also for Client and in its name, and as its act and deed, to sign, seal, execute, deliver and acknowledge such stock certificates, stock powers, assignments separate from certificate, deeds, conveyances, leases and assignments of leases, covenants, indentures, options, letters of intent, contracts, agreements, closing agreements, certificates, mortgages, hypothecations, bills of lading, bills, bonds, debentures, notes, receipts, evidence of debts, releases and satisfaction of mortgage, judgments and other debts, waivers of statutes of limitation, and such other documents Prime Law Firm : xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx Page 1 of 3 and instruments in writing of whatever kind and nature as may be necessary or proper in the premises, as fully as Client might do if done in its own capacity.
CONTRACT POWERS. MAPA shall also have the power to: • Contract with member and non-member general and special purpose units of government, boards, agencies, commissions and authorities for the provision of planning and administrative services • Contract with state, federal and private agencies or organizations for technical or financial participation in planning and administrative programs and projects, and • Contract with consulting firms and professional organizations for technical and professional services
