Contract/Regular Faculty Compensation Clause Samples

The Contract/Regular Faculty Compensation clause defines the terms and conditions under which faculty members are paid for their services. Contract/Regular Faculty Compensation. For 2017/2018, a one-time, off-schedule, total compensation payment of $4,500 shall be made to each full-time faculty member on or before June 30, 2018. Effective fall 2018, a new full-time faculty salary schedule was developed using benchmark districts and three (3) additional steps (23-25) were added. The new schedule is identified in Article 22. Effective fall 2019, the full-time faculty salary schedule was adjusted and is identified in Article 22.
Contract/Regular Faculty Compensation. A new full-time faculty salary schedule was developed using benchmark districts. Effective fall term 2011, the contract/regular salary schedule shall be adjusted to recognize longevity via two additional steps (31-32).
Contract/Regular Faculty Compensation. Regular full-time faculty who were in full time paid status prior to fall 2012 and who did not receive a step increase in 2011/12 academic year will be granted the return of one step to be effective fall 2014. If the return of one step does not equal at least $500.00, a one-time, off schedule, total compensation payment of the difference will be granted to assure a total payment of $500.00. Full-time faculty who began full-time paid status in fall 2012 or later (and therefore, did not forego a step), will be granted a one-time, off schedule, total compensation payment of $500.00. This compensation shall be made by July 1, 2015. For the 2015/16 academic year, the full-time faculty salary schedule has been revised to include adjusted steps using benchmark districts and includes a 1% increase. By August 3, 2015, a one- time, off schedule, total compensation payment of $2,000.00 shall be made to each of the four full-time faculty who attain the final step 32 on the salary schedule prior to the implementation of the 2015/16 adjustment. All full-time faculty were placed on the step on the new salary schedule at a rate not lower than their current salary. Those faculty that had achieved Step 22 or higher with the return of step for 2014/15 were placed at Step 22 (which was Step 32 or last step of the 2011/14 contract) for 2015/16 and 2016/17. Effective fall 2016, a 1% increase will be applied to the full-time salary schedule. If the District’s funded enrollment growth in 2015/16 meets or exceeds 4% as determined in the Chancellor’s Office 2016/17 First Principal Apportionment and 2015/16 Recalculation report received in spring 2017, an additional 1% increase will be applied to the 2016/17 full-time faculty salary schedule.
