CONTRACT TIME EXTENSIONS. A Contract Time Extension may be granted as determined by ADOT. A time extension is valid only if approved in writing as a modification to this Contract. Time extensions for projects using Federal-aid Highway funds over five (5) years after the original Contract completion date shall be approved by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
