Contractor Accreditation. If Contractor has received a rating of “Excellent,” Commendable” or “Accredited” from NCQA, the Contractor shall be “deemed” to meet the DHCS requirements for credentialing and will be exempt from the DHCS medical review audit of credentialing. Deeming of credentialing certification from other private credentialing organizations will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Contractor Accreditation. Contractor must require any Subcontractor to provide proof of accreditation annually. If the Subcontractor changes or intends to change its accreditation body the Subcontractor must notify the Contactor within five (5) business days after the new accreditation has been achieved.
