Common use of Contractor Retaliation Prohibited Clause in Contracts

Contractor Retaliation Prohibited. The Contractor and/or its Employees shall not take any adverse action which would result in the loss of any benefit of employment, any contract benefit, or any statutory benefit for any Employee, person or entity who has reported a violation of the Living Wage Program to the County or to any other public or private agency, entity or person. A violation of the provisions of this Sub-paragraph may constitute a material breach of the Contract. In the event of such material breach, the County may, in its sole discretion, terminate the Contract.
