Within thirty (30) days of the commencement of Services under this Agreement, and, thereafter, on July 1 of each year of the Term, the Contractor shall furnish the University with a performance guarantee in an amount equal to the amount that would be due to the Contractor hereunder for six (6) months of Services at the monthly rate then in effect. The form of the guarantee shall be a bond, cashier’s check, or money order made payable to the University and in a form otherwise acceptable to the University. No payments shall be made to the Contractor until the guarantee is in place and approved by the University in writing.
