Common use of Contractual Overtime Clause in Contracts

Contractual Overtime. Employees assigned to the Fire Suppression Division shall be paid overtime for hours worked in excess of such employee’s normal work schedule. Employees assigned to a 40 hour work week shall be paid overtime for hours worked in excess of forty (40) compensated hours in any given week. Overtime shall not be paid for hours worked as a result of “trading” of shifts. Overtime slips must be submitted within seven (7) days of the date the overtime was performed.
