Conversion of Sick Leave Into Retirement Service Credit. An employee who is eligible for purchase of service credits under the Nevada public employee's retirement system ("PERS") and applicable law, may at his or her option convert unused sick leave into service credit under PERS at the rate of one hour of service credit for two hours of sick leave, subject to the following conditions and limitations:
